Meet Dr. Katherine "Kaki" Whitty Schnitzer

Dr. Katherine “Kaki” Whitty Schnitzer was raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She earned her degree in Biology from Louisiana State University, where she was also a competitive cheerleader. After graduating, she moved to Shreveport, Louisiana to attend medical school at LSU. She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. During her residency, she was elected to chair the House Staff Council and served as Administrative Chief Resident.
Dr. Whitty Schnitzer looks forward to building a well-rounded practice that embraces and cares for the women in her community while forming long-term connections with her patients. She is certified on the DaVinci Robot, and her particular interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, high-risk obstetrics, and infertility to name a few. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Texas Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and fur babies. While she has enjoyed becoming a Texan, she stays true to her Louisiana roots when cheering on her LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. You can often find her reading a good book, exercising, or planning her next travel adventure!
