Dr. Amelie Chu is a native Houstonian and graduate J Frank Dobie High School.   She attended Rice University, where she majored in Biochemistry.  She then completed her medical degree and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where she gained extensive experience taking care of high-risk pregnancies.  She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
 
Dr. Chu is committed to providing exceptional care for women in all stages of their lives, including adolescence, contraception, pregnancy planning, fertility, obstetric care, and menopause.  She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and da vinci robotic surgery.  She enjoys caring for families during pregnancy and delivery, and especially loves to meet your precious babies!
 
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two rambunctious kids.

Dr Chu is proficient in English and Vietnamese
